We have an opportunity for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our Equifax team!
What you'll do
- Design and develop robust, scalable and secure distributed software applications
- Provide technical leadership including constructive code review review and guidance to other team members
- Working in a collaborative, high energy, fast paced and delivery driven environment
- Lead a technical team by example and foster growth in junior engineers
- Create/review technical documentation and collaborate with architects
What experience you need (5 or less requirements)
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-7 years of experience with software engineering practices
- 3+ years experience in building cloud based applications (GCP preferred)
- 5-7 years experience developing with Java and other open source technologies such as Spring boot, Microservices
- 3+ years of experience in relational or nosql database
- 3+ years of working experience in front end technologies such as angular
- Experience in pub sub technologies such as Kafka
- Experience working in a Devops oriented culture
What could set you apart
- GCP certification would be a plus
- Good to have Kubernetes and terraforms knowledge
