Position Summary


CVS is recruiting for a strong technical lead/application architect for contact center application development. This individual will be the most technical and senior resource on the Contact Center application engineering team. This "hands-on" individual will influence and provide technology strategy, direction, management, and support for the engineering team.



Responsibilities



  • Architecting, designing, building, and supporting complex contact center applications that integrate with the different contact center solutions within CVS including, Cisco, Avaya, Five9, Verint, Nice IEX.

  • Leading and growing a team of less-experienced engineers

  • Staying current with technology trends to effectively manage product portfolio in support of business needs

  • Collaborating and driving effective partnerships across the enterprise technology functions to maximize alignment, efficiency, cost optimization and investments, and delivery



Required Qualifications:



  • 8+ years of professional IT experience in dynamic roles

  • 5+ years designing, leading, and implementing technology projects

  • 5+ years experience and track record in application programming and website development

  • 5+ years designing, leading, and implementing technology projects.

  • 5+ years professional Java experience

  • 2+ experience working in an Agile environment

  • Ability to coach less experienced resources

  • Deep understanding of several of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, Perl, or PHP

  • Deep understanding of Git, Jenkins

  • Deep understanding of Linux, Windows, VMware

  • Deep understanding of Azure and GCP

  • A sound understanding of HTTP and REST-style web services is required

  • Out of the box problem solving skills, willingness to learn/experiment with new technologies, and build protypes/POCs

  • A sound understanding of HTTP and REST-style web services is required.

  • Proven Experience with leading complex contact center projects and converting business problems to technical design

  • Experience working in an Agile team



  • Must have excellent verbal and writing communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong experience and project implementation on contact center technology

  • Experience working in Contact Center technology for large scale call centers.

  • Working experience with some or all the following: Five9 APIs, IVR technology, Verint, Nice IEX, Aspect, Cisco, Avaya

  • Experience in automation, DevOps, and associated build /deployment CI/CD pipelines

  • 3+ years experience with data architecture concepts and governance, including acting as a design authority for information and data within projects



Education:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or Electronics/ Communication Engineering or (HS diploma + 10 years relevant experience)
