Key Responsibilities:

• As Role holder, you will be providing Database administration for Oracle databases as well as support for installed applications, including complex setups with high availability / disaster recovery requirements (Oracle RAC, Oracle DataGuard)
• Analysing system requirements of architectures and complex distributed systems
• Producing operational and technical documentation, such as: work instructions, concepts, scripts
• Autonomous planning and implementation of new database systems in close cooperation with customers
• Providing standby duty outside office hours

• Ability to meet the customers' needs in line with the business requirements
• Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes while delivering a service
• Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group setting to achieve common goals
• Communicating effectively and efficiently while adapting to your audience and getting the message through as intended
• Taking the responsibility and taking care of the consequences of making a decision
• Ability to find root causes of problems and to focus on their quick and efficient solution

Professional skills:

• In-depth knowledge of all administrative activities for Oracle databases (11g,12c,19c) within a Unix/Linux and Windows environment
• Experience in design, sizing, implementation and tuning of Oracle databases
• Knowledge of any of the following technologies, running on AWS: PostgreSQL, Aurora DB, MySQLis advantage
