We are currently hiring for a Medical Assistant - Occupational Health to support our New Holland, PA Hay Tools production facility. This position supports the onsite Medical Department with various hands on and administrative duties.


Responsibilities

• Schedules employees for onsite provider visits and maintains associated medical files. Includes annual hearing tests, Fitness for Duty exams, post-incident follow ups, etc.
• Maintains other employee medical records, department calendars and processes any required invoices & billings.
• Prepares required reports, charts, graphs, etc. using various software products.
• Provides direct care within scope of training and credentials.
• Assists with workers compensation claims filing and associated paperwork.
• Acts as employees first point of contact for Medical/Health related issues or questions.
• Support claims/ case management duties as needed.
• Orders departmental supplies.
• Supports plant EHS team as required.
• Participates on plant Emergency Response Team
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a relevant discipline or Medical Assistant Certification.
• At least 1 year of Occupational Health or ER Experience.
• At least 1 year of Microsoft Office products with heavy emphasis on Excel and Word.
