About the role
We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer who can together with our teams create the best performing, scalable and responsive frontend in the market, being a passioned frontend evangelist supporting our teams.
Overall description
Under moderate supervision, designs, develops, tests, debugs and deploys complex customer-intent software solutions, along with creating and supporting software tools and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of the software system. Makes relatively complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Assists in planning, scheduling and implementation and initiates corrective action(s) to stay on schedule.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
Experience:
- Excellent hands-on knowledge of JS frameworks like Angular or similar.
- Solid understanding of Angular and its core principles.
- Understanding of different libraries available to better manage application state like Redux.
- Understanding of one-way data flow and the Flux architecture.
- Hands-on experience working with Object Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), JavaScript - and practical uses in building complex interactive experiences, primarily with ECMAScript 2015+.
- Good understanding of creational and structural design patterns in JavaScript.
- Understanding of different CSS architectures that go together with Angular application development.
- Experience of implementing Security features in frontend applications, which includes adding the right security headers, CSP policies, protection against XSS click jacking etc.
- Hands-on experience with Frontend Performance Optimization.
- Excellent hands-on knowledge with TypeScript.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices, API Contract design, Domain Models.
- Work closely with business/stakeholders and other backend architects to define and design end to end (frontend) architecture of the application.
- Collaboratively deciding on the Frameworks and tools, deployment strategy, DevOps pipelines, quality gates, defining Non-Functional Requirements, defining Automated Testing solutions.
- Mentor engineers in helping review code, guiding on technical decisions.
- Hands-on with DevOps pipelines and able to tweak/change build/deployment pipeline as needed in context of a module.
