We are looking to hire a passionate, creative and curious Cloud Architect with the ability to lead customer projects and engagements. This role will help drive the delivery of a variety of projects for customers, including new development and the modernization of existing cloud infrastructure and applications. You will be part of a team designing, automating, and deploying services on behalf of our customers. We have deep experience applying DevOps techniques in virtually every industry. What you'll be doing:
- Work with customer to align business goals to technology solutions in a variety of projects
- Designing well-architected, documented, and tested software and infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements
- Architecting microservice platforms using automated deployment for customers
- Writing infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform)
- Serving as a technical mentor to other team members
- Serving as escalation for environment troubleshooting
- Identifying and addressing bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks
- Participating in an agile delivery team, helping to ensure the technical quality of the features delivered across the team, including documentation, testing strategies, and code review
- Leading and presenting technology discussions to client
- Helping to determine technical feasibility of solutions for business requirements
- Meeting customer SLAs and managing communication in case of issues
- Configuring and maintaining backup, monitoring, and alerting systems for multiple clients
- Developing advanced Linux/RHEL deployment and management automation (Bash/Python/Ansible)
- Remaining up-to-date on emerging technologies and architecture and propose ways to use them in current and upcoming projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience leading technical projects including designing solutions based on business and technical requirements through implementation
- Able to comfortably design, architect, and oversee implementation of technical solutions and projects
- Highly proficient in networking and security
- Advanced expertise of common AWS services (EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch CloudFormation etc.)
- Advanced expertise of common cloud services (Databases, Containers, Compute, Storage, Serverless etc.)
- Service architecture and advanced container experience in Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS
- Experience with implementing and managing monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and fluentd
- Experience with CI/CD and code management tools (ArgoCD, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild)
- Experience with GitOps in the context of EKS deployments using CI/CD
- Experience with distributed version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab)
- Extensive experience with CloudFormation and or CDK
- In-depth knowledgeable of configuration management with Ansible
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers
- Experience in performance management of database engines (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, ElasticSearch)
- Experience with any of the following Python, Go
- 2 to 3 industry recognized certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, RedHat, etc)
