Position Summary


The HCB IT Delivery organization, within CVSH's DDAT organization, is seeking an Lead Software Engineer to help realize the product features for a Conversational AI platform that is helping our members to get answers to their health insurance questions through the channel of their choice. In this role you will be responsible for helping to align features and user stories to the solution design. In this role you will have a holistic understanding of the application and serve as an expert on the end to end implementation of the application


You will make an impact by:



  • Participating in feature refinement sessions with key stakeholders to ensure the specified needs are clearly articulated, identify gaps, and propose adjustments as needed.

  • Recommending technical solutions based on business requirements and prioritization

  • Creating/proposing solutions for new features with considerations around scale and costs

  • Identifying data needs for use cases, partnering with Integration architects to map enterprise services to the user interface

  • Designing logical navigation flows within the chat bot

  • Creating/updating design documentation in Lucid

  • Addressing issues/risks/dependencies in solution recommendations

  • Supporting user onboarding, training, and adoption activities


Required Qualifications



  • 7+ years in a Business Analysts or Architect (preferably Business Architect) role

  • Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday)

  • Understanding of architecture patterns to enable scalable solutions for data management, BI, and analytics

  • Deep understanding of data lifecycle management (operational databases, warehouses, integration and governance, pipelining, analytics enablement, and reporting)

  • Critical thinker, with the ability to make decisions on technology aligned to business needs for analytics and data engineering functions

  • Highly motivated, independent worker with a pulse on industry trends and best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience as a Business or Information Architect a plus

  • Understanding of data and analytics tools including Tableau, Alation, DataRobot, Trifacta


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering or STEM
