The Software Developer will work within the Financial Services IT team supporting production, improvements, and future version rollouts through the development of plug-in objects to be used in conjunction with the Asset Finance receivable application.
The Software Developer will participate in the IT activities for small to medium sized projects along with team members across the financial services group. The position is expected to be a knowledge guide of existing custom-built processes and diagnose system issues that are encountered around the financial services retail receivable system.
This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!
Responsibilities
- Using written specifications, create .NET plug-in objects in C#
- Creation of test cases to support unit testing of the developed objects
- Documentation of purpose and key business functions for future reference
- Debugging support and resolution of issues discovered in the user testing phase
- Level 2 debugging support and resolution of plug-in objects for business issues
- Adapting plug-in objects to upgraded versions of Asset Finance
- Create standardization while maximize reuse of objects across multiple business functions
- Enhance business processes through added functionality that is beyond the commercially delivered Asset Finance application
- Follow best practice change management processes and align with SOX requirements
Position Pays $76,000 to $95,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 2 years .NET Development experience within an IT organization
