Job Details

Primary responsibilities for this position include scheduling processes using IBM Workload scheduler and providing support for a small collection of applications.

Core functions:

• IBM Workload Scheduling


• Support of other production applications


• Participate in on-call rotations


• Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as second level support

Required Qualifications

2+ years experience in an IT role (e.g. Operations, Production Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support)

1-2 years IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) scheduling experience

Working knowledge in these technologies:

• OS: UNIX, Linux, vi, Unix Shell scripting, Mainframe, Windows Server


• Protocols: Telnet, SFTP, TCP/IP


• Tools: MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Enterprise change management software (e.g. ServiceNow)

Working knowledge in these technologies:

• ServiceNow: change management, work request, and incident


• Content/Output management tool use and support (e.g. SAR (View/Deliver), XPORTER, CMOD (OnDemand))


• SAP application scheduling


• Code management and migration (Dimensions, Changeman on HPNS, Mainframe, Distributed)


• HPNS, OpenVMS

Education

Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
