Job Summary
The Office of Student Affairs with the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine (SOM) works closely with medical students to ensure they feel supported and successful during their time at the SOM by facilitating the personal and professional development of the students through accessibility, professionalism, and collaboration.
The Administrative Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the SOM Student Affairs team. Assists medical students by supporting Student Affairs Program Managers/House Advisors, credentialing needs, events, and covering the front office. This position will cross-train in all aspects of Student Affairs, including involvement in and completion of recurring projects and events, and provides additional support to other Student Affairs team members during busy seasons.

Responsibilities
- Provides assistance with planning and coordinating in-person and virtual workshops for students, running reports, and assisting with holds on student's records in coordination with program managers.
- Create, update, and communicate on Student Affairs related Canvas courses and lead on student credentialing processes, badge access, drug screening, and other required assignments.
- Manages all aspects to student access to the electronic medical record, including account requests, access, and training.
- Cross-train with and provide daily email and administrative support to Student Affairs Program Managers.
- Co-lead and/or support major Student Affairs event committees, events and student groups.
- Assists house leadership with event planning and orders catering and supplies for house activities.
- Help Program Assistant with front office coverage, scheduling meetings, reserving rooms, ordering supplies for the Student Lounge/office, and ordering catering for class-wide events.
- Helps Program Assistant as needed scheduling meetings by reserving rooms on Astra for students and staff at the School of Medicine.
- Register travel trips and issue reimbursements for faculty, students, and staff.
- Build and update school of medicine web pages.
- Create and gather social media content for school of medicine and house related events and activities.
- Act as primary support for student leadership groups as assigned.
- Support after-hours events and activities.
- Provide back up support for professional identity formation faculty and staff initiatives as well as RealMD program events, and podcasts.
- Acts as point of contact for the School of Medicine's students, faculty and guests maintains a welcoming and positive environment within the Office of Student Affairs; provides back-up administrative support to Student Affairs management and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
