Job Description:
Madison College is seeking a part-time Testing Coordinator to join the team at the Truax Branch Campus. This position supports test administration in an administrative capacity by providing customer service, serving as an initial point of contact, delivering intake and triage services, proctoring low-level assessments and make-up exams, assisting with scheduling, and helping ensure secure, compliant, and accessible testing environments for all students.
This role supports standardized testing operations and student success by assisting with test administration activities, responding to student and community member inquiries, and providing accurate information about testing services.
The Testing Coordinator applies knowledge of college systems, policies, and digital platforms to coordinate services, resolve routine issues, and maintain responsive, student-centered support through phone, chat, and written communication.
This is a part-time position scheduled for 24 hours per week, 48 weeks per year. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m., with occasional Saturdays required to support college events. The position also requires two shifts per month at Goodman South Campus and one evening shift each week, approximately 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Within these expectations, there is flexibility to establish a schedule that best fits your availability.

Accountabilities:
- Assists with ensuring standardized test administration by conducting administrative work associated with assessments, assisting with setting up test environments and maintaining adherence to testing procedures to uphold integrity and compliance.
- Supports student success by providing intake services for students and triaging questions.
- Serves as the initial point of contact for students and community members by providing accurate guidance on testing services.
- Applies knowledge of college systems, policies and digital platforms to book services, resolve routine issues and direct students
- Delivers support through phone, chat and written communication to promote responsive service.
- Engages positively with colleagues, handles conflict directly and professionally, contributes to team discussions, collaborates, and helps colleagues, assumes the best from colleagues, provides, and accepts constructive feedback, follows through on commitments, and supports final decisions that are made.
- Contributes to an inclusive, equitable and supportive environment where everyone at the institution feels valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential.
- Adheres to college policies, directives and work rules while maintaining a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values.
- Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives.

- Ability to assess and respond to student needs by providing clear information about testing, accommodations and institutional resources
- Knowledge of institutional resources, policies and digital platforms.
- Ability to provide customer service and resolve concerns.
- Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment.
- Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
