Job Summary
The Department of Pre-Collegiate Programs at CU Boulder invites applications for a Program Manager for the Precollegiate Development Program (PCDP)! This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and implementation of a cohort-based precollege program serving middle and high school students and their families. This temporary, part-time role ensures effective delivery of curriculum and programming throughout the academic year and coordinates key program components, including a summer residential experience for high school students.
Under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Precollege Programs, the individual will collaborate closely with PCDP Coordinators to develop and implement Saturday Academy programming that aligns with established curriculum frameworks and learning outcomes. The Program Manager collaborates closely with the Engagement and Success team to ensure continuity of support as students' progress through the program and transition into the college application phase. The role also tracks participation and outcomes to support program evaluation and reporting efforts.

Who We Are
The Office of Precollege Outreach and Engagement, partners with communities across Colorado and beyond to provide first-generation students and their families with comprehensive college preparation and social development programming.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Program Operations & Curriculum Implementation:
- Manage day-to-day operations of PCDP, including scheduling, logistics, and delivery of academic-year programming at Saturday Academies.
- Ensure consistent implementation of curriculum and activities aligned with program goals.
- Coordinate materials, staffing needs, and session readiness to support high-quality program delivery.
Senior Transition & Summer Residential Coordination:
- Support rising seniors as they transition into the college application phase of the program.
- Coordinate student participation in the summer residential experience, including logistics and communication.
- Partner with the Engagement and Success Program Manager to support student engagement, track participation, and ensure the High School Senior Mentor Program operates efficiently and meets program goals.
- Collaborate with the Engagement and Success team to ensure seamless transition and continued support for students who apply to the university.
Partner & Family Engagement:
- Maintain regular communication with students and families to support engagement and participation.
- Support PCDP Coordinators in developing and maintaining effective relationships with school-based and community partners to support recruitment and program success.
- Coordinate events, communications, and outreach efforts related to program activities.
Data Tracking, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Track student participation, attendance, and program achievements.
- Maintain program records and contribute to reporting and evaluation efforts.
- Use data to support ongoing program improvement and constituent storytelling.
Administrative & Other Duties as Assigned:
- Assist with budget tracking and resource planning for PCDP activities.
- Participate in meetings and planning efforts related to program operations.
What You Should Know
This is a temporary position anticipated to last 9 months.
This position will work a hybrid schedule: 3 days per week in-office, 2 days per week remote. June will be 100% in office.
What We Can Offer
The pay range for this full-time position is $30 - $35/per hour.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
- 3+ years of experience in program coordination, program management, or student-facing educational programs.
- Experience implementing curriculum or structured programming.
- Experience in event planning and management.

- Strong public speaking and oral/written communication skills across multiple age groups and professional levels.

- Strong conflict resolution, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in both group and individual settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Written and oral fluency in Spanish.
