Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire an
Enrollment Services Specialist
position. This is a part-time, non-union, non-exempt, and non or benefits-eligible position that will work a maximum of 19.5 hours per week, primarily in-person/on-site on Mondays and Fridays. POSITION OVERVIEW
- Provide first point of contact and information resource for prospective students and current students relating to admission and registration procedures.
- Provide information about degrees, programs, and services as well as financial aid, transcripts, student account activity, payment plans, add/drop courses, grading options, timelines, and other registration information.
- Coordinate enrollment processes with other campus locations.
- Serve as liaison for problem-solving with other college departments, student and public.
- Work would be limited to 19.5 hours per week and mostly in person.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform data entry and provide student record maintenance
- Review and process student documents such as applications, registrations, grade changes, waivers, and transcript requests
- Educate students and public regarding all enrollment related processing deadlines
- Assist students with completion of enrollment related forms (admissions, registration, privacy release, transcript requests)
- Troubleshoot and respond in a timely fashion to online registration questions and needs
- Communicate with students and staff written requests for enrollment information, student records, and other related processes
- Prepare and produce official transcripts at student request
- Maintain current knowledge of college policies and procedures pertaining to admission, registration, records, and student accounts
- Communicate information accurately. Work as a team member
- Implement procedures that reflect institutional policy, comply with state/federal requirements and demonstrate excellent customer service
- Comply with FERPA regulations
AUXILIARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- May provide assistance to other department personnel as workload and staffing levels dictate
- Maintain proficiency by attending training and meetings, reading materials, and meeting with others in areas of responsibility
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner
Qualifications
MINIMUM/MANDATORY EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED and
at least two (2) years office/business experience - Advanced knowledge of general office procedures
- Ability to work independently to attain department goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person to the general public, clients, students, staff and faculty
- Good organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously for a variety of programs
- Ability to handle periods of heavy data entry
- Be reliable, dependable and flexible
- Operate standard office machines: fax, copier, printer, etc. Use work processing software
- Use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives and abilities
- Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the College's culture, including integrity, a customer service orientation, cultural competency, trustworthiness, flexibility and a willingness to change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree desired
- Bilingual desired

Terms of Employment
- All positions at CCC are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college and requires a flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends.
