Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Work-Study and Outreach Specialist is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations of the student work-study program, providing essential outreach efforts to promote available financial aid programs, and enhancing student engagement with work-study opportunities. This position serves as the key contact for both students and departments regarding work-study placements, fund allocation, and compliance with institutional policies. The specialist will also actively promote work-study and financial aid opportunities through strategic outreach initiatives and collaborate with campus partners to increase awareness and participation.
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in student employment services, financial aid, or outreach programs.
- Knowledge of work-study programs, student employment policies, and financial aid processes is preferred.
- Experience working with student information systems or similar platforms.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to interpret and explain program policies and regulations clearly to students and staff.
- Relevant certifications in financial aid or student services are preferred but not required.

Hiring Range:
9 Hourly/Starting salary beginning at $54,604/annually
