Job Description
This position is within the Office of Shared Services and coordinates travel and contract administration functions for various departments under the Division of Finance and Administration.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide travel services, processing travel requests, arrangements and processing reimbursements. Administering air, ground transportation, lodging and conference registrations as well as other travel-related services are key functions performed by this position. Provides quality assurance and data accuracy for other departmental employees and participates in delivering professional development to campus travel users. This position also administers contracts related to travel, tracks compliance with fiscal policies, and participates in human resources transactions as this relates to contingent workers and may also participate in departmental job searches.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education: HS Diploma or GED
- Experience: 1-3 years of similar experience
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills, customer services skills, computer experience. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office in Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or Vocational or Technical training
- Experience: In depth ERP experience
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Business accounting and technical experience. Fiscal policy knowledge as related to the position.
