Reporting to the Director of Admissions within the Wharton MBA Program for Executives Admissions Office.

The role of MBA Admissions Advisor is an externally facing role responsible for direct 1-1 advising of prospective Wharton Executive MBA applicants.

This role requires availability to meet with prospective students and to schedule individual or group advising sessions on your personal calendar. Each advising session includes a review of the candidate's credentials, a 15-minute call, and a call summary in Salesforce. Admissions advisors are expected to devote multiple calls on their calendars weekly.

In addition to participation in Wharton MBA for Executives prospective student recruitment this advisor and ambassador role will also be part of some Wharton MBA Program for Executives application reading and interview activities throughout the admissions cycle.

An Admissions Advisor with the Wharton MBA for Executives is expected to be well-versed in every aspect of the Wharton Executive MBA program and the Wharton Executive MBA Admissions process. Questions and advising typically range from deep cultural aspects of the Wharton program to specific advice in crafting strong applications to Wharton. Advisors are required to use that knowledge to help recruit and encourage candidates to apply to the program.

Knowledge of the Wharton Executive MBA Program and Wharton Executive MBA Admissions is required. A Wharton MBA Admissions Advisor must be a good public speaker, have the ability to speak with confidence about the Wharton Executive MBA Program and Wharton Executive MBA Admissions. The ability to give good advice and put applicants at ease is a must. A collaborative team player who demonstrates executive presence, poise and genuine esprit de corps is required to ensure that prospective students to the Wharton MBA program are well advised and leave their experience with the advisor believing there are on the precipice of crafting the strongest application they can to the Wharton MBA Program for Executives.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level.
