The pay scale reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within this range, the individual pay is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and work location. Please note that the compensation details listed reflects the base salary only.

Job Summary
Provides support to the Office of Medical Simulation (OMS) by coordinating, training, recruiting, evaluating, and mentoring Standardized Patients.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
- Good computer skills are necessary to set up documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, WebSP, Articulate, Resource Scheduler and any other software program required by this position.
- Skills with calculator, copy machine, and telephone operation.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.
- Ability to develop and deliver training and testing materials
- Ability to analyze data and compile reports.
- Embody a commitment to Humanism
Required Qualifications
- AA degree and/or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
- 4-5 years experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this job in a satisfactory manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Biology, Education, Communications or any area that supports teaching/training in Medical/Health or working on completion within the next 2 years.
- 6+ years experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this job in a satisfactory manner preferred.
- Previous teaching experience, experience as a Standardized Patient or Standardized Patient Educator preferred.
