Web Team Manager

Position Summary:
This position oversees the application of web engagement technologies in support of strategic marketing and communication goals. The position ensures web efforts are planned, resources and executed, and will manage a team of web coordinators and technicians.
Duties may include:
- Select, train, mentor and evaluate staff
- Oversee team workload and assign effort to team members
- Plan, prioritize, resource and execute on web efforts
- Analyze, evaluate and report on efforts
- Advise stakeholders on how to utilize web-based engagement tools
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five years building and maintaining web properties
- Creating and sending bulk emails
- Managing multiple complex technology projects
- Leading project teams
- Using project management tools
- Using web analytics applications to make informed decisions and recommendations
- Applying principles of web design, search engine optimization and accessibility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Two years of experience managing multiple direct reports
- Experience in marketing or communications, preferably in higher education
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Experience with CRM, DAM, and marketing automation applications
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
