About this role:

iRhythm is currently seeking an experienced, motivated Software Engineering Manager focused on our Clinical Analysis and Reporting platform. The role can be remote or at our San Francisco office. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Most of all, we are passionate about delivering innovations that improve the quality of health care and the patient experience. Note: We are unable to offer any sort of sponsorship for this role. Will be expected to work remote from a US based home office.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruit, manage, and grow software engineering team members.


• Act as a technical lead, driving technology adoption, leading decisions on code and application architecture.


• Participate in implementing and refining software development processes, methodologies, and tools.


• Work with peers to help define project content, timeline, resources, and risks.


• Support software in production, including deployment activities, issue troubleshooting, and anomaly impact analysis.


• Participate and review technical documentation and requirements.


• Help define and improve development processes, methodologies, and tools.

About you:

• 10+ years software engineering experience with a focus on backend Java development.


• 3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role.


• 2+ years of experience with cloud computing, AWS.


• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.


• Experience working with MySQL, Hibernate, NoSQL databases, and Spring Boot.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.


• BA/BS in Computer Science, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Estimated Pay Range

$155,300—$200,000 USD
