With the first projects launched in this area, we are now seeking talented IT professionals keen to meet the challenges of change. Within the Corporate IT directorate, the Productivity Applications, Collaboration and Events (PACE) department provides to the Office applications and tools to foster an effective and collaborative workplace. It provides fit for purpose productivity application like Microsoft365, OpenText, many off the shelf products like Azavista, Spatial Chat, Zoom, etc. and fosters collaboration with modern tools and conferencing solutions to allow users to work from anywhere, on any device, at any time.

Technology is evolving constantly and rapidly and the team aims to monitor these changes in order to align Office policies and strategies with business needs and new technologies

With us you will

Manage the Microsoft 365 environment and other digital workplace solutions
Provide technical expertise to users on the use of Microsoft 365 applications and related platforms
Deliver architecture services providing advice and support to projects and activities which have an impact on the digital workplace
Monitor vendor roadmaps for upcoming changes to existing tools, review and evaluate new tools to determine which tools should be deployed and promoted.
Align upgrades and requests for new tools between business needs and IT requirements.
Drive changes and improvements.
Develop Proofs of Concept when required to answer Architecture concerns
Manage security hardening for the different platforms
Monitor, review and update the implementation and governance in place for the digital workplace environment (security, data protection, developments…)
Participate to the decommissioning of existing tools
Analyse market trends in technologies and functionalities related to productivity and artificial intelligence
Recommend new tools for incorporating into our catalogue for managing productivity.

Apply if you have

Large experience as solution architect
Experience with digital workplace and collaboration tools
Broad experience with Microsoft365 aspects and related products.
Experience of security hardening (experience with Microsoft Security Assessments).
Knowledge and experience with MS-Power platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
Experience with MS labelling system (Integration between Office 365 and OpenText is an asset)
Charismatic, highly motivated, pro-active and service oriented.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various service areas
Ability to write technical documents
Proven effective oral and written communication skills

Our minimum requirements for this post

Diploma of completed studies at master's level or – in exceptional cases – equivalent professional experience
Generally, an excellent knowledge (at least C1) of one official language (English, French and German) and ability to understand the other two; alternatively, excellent knowledge (at least C1) of at least one official language (in such cases, the willingness to learn the missing language(s) and to reach level B2 within a set time frame would be required)
Citizenship of one of the member states of the European Patent Organisation

Process

The successful candidate will be selected on the basis of qualifications, competencies, professional experience and language knowledge, supplemented as appropriate by interviews, tests and/or a personality questionnaire.A reserve list may be constituted, should more candidates than required at this time be considered suitable following the selection procedure. Such reserve lists are valid for 18 months and reserve list candidates may be contacted, should a vacancy with substantially the same profile arise during that period.

In view of the current situation, Talent Acquisition will assess the business impact of a potential appointment by gathering input from the releasing principal director once the selection board/interview panel has finalised its proceedings and drawn up a list of suitable candidates. For candidates found suitable by the selection board, their PD will be contacted to clarify the possibility of release to the new unit. The final decision remains with the appointing authority.
