Responsibilities
The Seeder Validation team supports functional, durability, and reliability validation of CNHi products through in-service and lab testing. This team partners closely with the engineering team to verify that prototype parts and/or whole vehicles meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
The PLPV oversees all field and lab activities related to Seeding equipment for CNHi and is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the team members.
The PLPV/Ops Manager also manages the Saskatoon Prototype Shop, setting priorities for work, based on needs of the Seeding and Planting Platforms. As an area leader, the PLPV/Ops Manager also provides feedback to local Facilities on general building and facility maintenance required in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Continuous monitoring and setting priorities on the team operations
- Providing tasks via Backlog Refinement within an Agile framework
- Develop skillset of the team member
- Manpower planning and budget tracking
- Support the team on bringing the customers voice in the development.
- The 1st line contact for peers in the Seeding Platform
- Providing feedback to the Product Validation Manager for continuous improvement and large-scale improvement initiatives
- Maintain and update Milestone documentation for releasing product to production
- Report on project status as required
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Organizational skills with ability and desire to lead a team of technical professionals
- Knowledge of the product development process
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will have:
- Knowledge of the customer Ag business
- Product knowledge of Seeding equipment (Air carts, drills)
- Understanding of the lab and field validation process

- Capable of maintaining clarity in direction
