Position Details:
MiraCosta College is accepting applications for Community Education Instructors.

Applications are valid through June 30, 2023, at which time they will expire. A new posting for this pool will be posted on July 1, 2023, and those still interested will need to reapply at that time.

Retired STRS members are not eligible for this position.

Basic Function:
Community Education & Workforce Development is looking for qualified individuals who are both industry experts AND natural instructors who want to teach new and fascinating not-for-credit courses .

Instructors must have experience teaching more than 10 students at a time, love your field of expertise and want to share while doing hands-on projects.

Instructors who are personable, enthusiastic, patient, and who have excellent communication skills.

Instructors must be able to work one-on-one and with small groups of students.

It is imperative that the instructor is professional and ethical at all times.

We are offering a unique opportunity for instructors and/or subject matter experts to teach creative new classes and programs in arts, enrichments, children & teens, computers, and business.

If selected, the instructor will need to complete a new course proposal form including his/her curriculum.
