What you will be doing
Product Analyst role will work on multiple projects within Warehouse Fulfillment and Operations product line. This position will work directly with business users to gather and document user stories, and work with development resources translating user stories into technical specifications while providing feedback on overall system functionality. The Product Analyst will understand system process and data flows and how they support user stories and technical requirements.
The position will be based Pleasanton CA and Dallas TX.
Main responsibilities
- Using Agile methodologies, gather user stories from business and technical partners and assist development in translating these into technical specifications and design deliverables, and defining the acceptance criteria.
- Lead and facilitate business user meetings to gather process information. Assist others in understanding the flow of information/processes and data through systems.
- Analyze test plans, test cases to ensure proper test coverage including operational tests. Oversee the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing.
- Systems analysis of vendor solutions to determine if they meet business and technical requirements.
- Take ownership of product success. Contribute to end user training materials and procedures.
- Partner with Product Owner and Solution Architect to deliver the quality products that aligns with business goals
- Hands on analysis and troubleshooting system issues as needed to drive resolution and determine root cause, including testing and production issues (using SQL and other tools as needed)
What we are searching for
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or technology related field
- 4+ years of IT experience in complex IT Systems within Distribution Systems
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior technical role with WMS packaged software in the desired technology.
- Supply Chain/Distribution Systems Experience: Broad distribution systems knowledge including warehouse management, labor management, material handling equipment, automation, and other innovation technology such as blockchain-powered supply chain automations.
- Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
- An understating of different integration methodologies including service based, message based and batch integration architectures using tools such as BODS, MQ, IBM Sterling etc.
- A self-starter who can learn on the job
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams.
