Role and Responsibilities
- Work in the fab with the Equipment Technicians and other Engineers to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities with a mindset towards root cause analysis, standardization, and 5S.
- Ability to support down equipment with minimal supervision.
- Analyze down systems to determine POA for fast return to production.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 high volume manufacturing environment.
- Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and vendors.
- Shift: 1st - Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Equipment Engineering with a preference for experience with KLA Tencor Archer or Aleris8350/60 - Rudolph/ Onto F30, F30B, MP300 or MPG - Nanometrics Atlas, Atlas XP AtlasII+, Atlas III or Atlas III+.
- MUST have a BS degree in Engineering. Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred.
- Familiarity with Metrology equipment preferred.
- Strong electro-mechanical background including but not limited to robotics and stage mechanics.
- Six Sigma/LEAN certification preferred.
- Must have strong organization and project management skills.
- Detail and task oriented is a requirement.
- Must have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills required.
- Ability to meet due dates for action items.
- Challenge the status quo and continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-learner.
