Senior Director, Wrike Enterprise Sales - Greenfield (Remote US)

What we're looking for:
You are a highly driven, motivated, and experienced Sales Director who is looking for the opportunity to lead an Enterprise sales management team to reach their goals and drive customer adoption of Wrike solutions. Wrike is the collaborative work management platform of choice for 20,000+ companies in over 140 countries.

You have 10+ years of successful technical sales experience with 4+ years of sales management experience and are ready to join an amazing team of technical professionals in a supportive team culture.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Director of Sales, you will lead and motivate a field-based Enterprise sales management team toward achieving their revenue targets. Your team will promote Wrike products and solutions by engaging with customers demonstrating how Wrike solutions meet and exceed their needs. You will utilize your years of experience working with C level decision makers and experience executing and closing complex deal structures to guide your teams' achievement of their revenue goals.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensures sales team has the skills necessary to understand the technology needs and present Wrike solutions to customers to meet those needs. Identify training and development gaps and create plans to address.
  • Leverage and communicate competitive losses/win across the sales team. Provide day-to-day guidance in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis, and pricing, bids/RFPs/RFQs, and corporate policy interpretation. Lead sales team in following the sales methodology and best practices.
  • Meet sales goals by setting strategies and leading sales reps in execution of selling through diligent lead follow-up, mining the installed customer base, and prospecting. Identify market potential (geographic, product, etc.), set sales strategies to capture this potential, and manage investments to eliminate coverage gaps. Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts to senior management. Help define quotas and bookings commitments throughout the year.
  • Communicate with Sales team to maintain consistency with corporate direction and strategy and informed of company activities and initiatives. Develop and execute field sales programs such as quarterly business reviews. Communicate marketing requirements and competitive data, including pricing, feature needs, license models and value proposition strategies to product stakeholders to senior management.
  • Implement account and opportunity planning processes and develop new initiatives to maximize revenue and market potential. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition; ability to motivate sales reps to implement this.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership with larger projects or corporate initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in managing teams that sell complex technical business solutions in the enterprise space with a strong understanding of business drivers for Line of Business solutions within organizations. An understanding of overall business functions and the impact of technical decisions on business results. High degree of motivation with advanced organizational, negotiation, complex and large deal creation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, resource management, and team building skills.
  • Ability to develop an in-depth expert product knowledge and a solid understanding of Wrike competitive domain and technologies.
  • Proven ability to train, support and motivate a field-based sales team to achieve stellar results.
  • Able to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Wrike delivery infrastructure solution strategy for the specific technical area.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably
  • Experience and background in 2 tier channel/distribution sales model.
  • Requires broad management and leadership knowledge to lead multiple job areas.
  • Mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function
  • Ability to travel 50 % of the time within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate HQ as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of Sales SaaS Leadership experience leading teams greater than 5 Managers

In the state of Colorado, the salary for this role generally ranges from $173,000-$215,00 but may vary depending on your qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of this range.
