Field Service Technician II

As a Field Service Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. You'll be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying our products and updating and tracking the status of all field related equipment. You'll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with onsite training.

- Associate's degree in a related field and/or at least 2 years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents
- Troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command pandemic restriction requirements for deployed locations
- Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.
- Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
- Prior IT application experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
- Encrypted radio maintenance/troubleshooting experience
- FCC and/or FCC w/GROL License
- Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Multi-meters
- Fiber Optic maintenance/troubleshooting experience.
- Fiber Optics training certification(s)
- Current/Valid Passport and ability to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
