The Associate Director, Marketing & Operations Technology is responsible for managing daily operations and long-term planning for Admissions marketing initiatives and acts as admissions lead for Marketo, Salesforce, VisitDays, and SMS Magic. The Associate Director is also responsible for ensuring accurate communication to prospect, inquiry, and applicants across these systems. Responsible for producing and implementing a communication plan for Admissions as well as Continuing Studies constituents within all products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, create, deploy and monitor automated and demand generation marketing campaigns for Admissions and Continuing Studies marketing including nurture programs, scoring programs, trigger and drip-based automated email communications and ad hoc email campaigns, landing pages, event management, and SMS. Determine and execute plan for social media deployment within the marketing automation software tool.
Serve as a subject matter expert in marketing automation, email marketing, and lead scoring, social media automation (via Marketo) & SMS.
With the Marketo system, identify trends and insights, optimize spend and performance based on the insights, brainstorm new and creative growth strategies, and plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
Perform regularly scheduled QA testing to ensure data consistency and functionality, proof accuracy of campaign steps and actively identify system failures as they occur to ensure the proper execution of automation workflows within all systems.
Work with the Director, Enrollment Management Technology and Enrollment Analyst to provide user reports within Admission marketing systems.
Act as liaison between the Admissions office, and Information Services to ensure seamless integration between all marketing systems.
Remain current in marketing system product upgrades and improvements, providing recommendations and championing enhancement efforts.
Provide appropriate training to all levels of Admissions personnel in the use of marketing systems.
Bachelor's degree required
Experience writing html
Experience in higher education admissions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize across multiple projects
Strong organizational and time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
Technology savvy - it is critical that the candidate has the ability to acquire and apply technical skills rapidly
Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, SMS Magic. Asana knowledge preferred.
