Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Admissions Marketing & Operations and the Director of Enrollment Marketing Technology, and working in close collaboration with the Admissions Operations & Marketing teams, as well as Information Systems, the Assistant Director, Admissions Technology Specialist is responsible for admissions technology related to all CRM data loads, and SMS communication. This position also serves as the supplemental technology lead for both the Salesforce CRM and the Admissions Marketing Automation system.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Institutional lead for all aspects of recruitment list management from working with Information Systems to develop data mapping conventions, ensuring that all are accurately loaded into our CRM system, maintaining a log of all data loads, assessing year-over-year performance and alerting Executive Director/Director when Admissions list purchases fall below levels that will support expected enrollment goals, and spearheading the investigation of new list source purchases and direct ad hoc initiatives requiring manual pulls of data from various sources including internet research.
Serve as SMS marketing subject matter expert, including developing and implementing communication plans for prospective graduate, undergraduate and continuing studies students both domestic and international.
Executes all Admissions-related SMS marketing initiatives, and analyzes performance metrics to ensure high levels of deliverability and open rates.
Acts as second departmental technology lead for the Admissions instance of the Salesforce CRM system, sending emails, updating event information and providing reports as needed.

Acts as primary trainer for all admissions counselors on technology initiatives not limited to application review, event management, recording student interactions, SMS campaigns, Salesforce reporting, and dashboard use.
Remain current in product upgrades and improvements, providing recommendations and championing enhancement efforts.
Supervise student employee(s) and/or temporary/officee assistant position.
Bachelor's degree required
Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, SMS Magic, and Slideroom
Experience in higher education admissions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize across multiple projects
Strong organizational and time management skills and a high level of attention to detail
