Job Summary:
This role will focus on clinical practice reporting in concert with department and clinic leadership. This position requires a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and communicate with different groups. This full-time (1.0 FTE) position is a new role and will require flexibility and open communication. Streamlining clinical and administration efforts are department-wide and may require flexible sharing of tasks with other department stakeholders. This position will be executing projects, assisting management with the creation of work processes and guidelines. Training will be provided as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, evaluates, develops, executes, and implements work processes to achieve program efficiencies and deliver needed services effectively. This role will be the subject matter expert in clinical reporting.
- Organizes and establishes work processes to provide support to management endeavors, ensure the delivery of designated services, and implement rules, regulations, policies, and other guidelines as prescribed by management to achieve program objectives.
- Management and dissemination of Procedure Reports.
- CPT Profiling Reports- pulled for each of the ~10 sub-sections.
- Pulls and verifies cFTE Report data for accuracy; provides summaries to providers who are not meeting benchmarks for session counts, wRVU counts, and NPV metrics.
- Maintains alerts for deadlines, deliverables, and records to ensure providers stay in compliance with ABPN and MOC certifications, med-legal/consulting, and required UCH-QI in conjunction with clinic leaders.
- Coordinate and liaise consulting and med-legal efforts between providers and outside agencies.
- Management and dissemination of additional CU Medicine reports as necessary- addressing write-offs, taxonomy, down coding, etc. All items that involve clinical billing, collections, coding, and reports will be addressed in this role.
- Identifies issues related to clinical operational efficiency and shares results with leadership. Creatively and effectively integrates data from multiple sources to optimize clinical efficiencies to design and develop processes for optimizing clinical practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains alerts for deadlines and deliverables.
- Enter and maintain data in department databases (e.g., FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Access, and Excel); work closely with Neurology IT to execute, obtain, clean, and organize department reports.

Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO, and be community-based with the possibility of some remote work. There will be potential for this position to work hybrid.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social services, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of relevant professional administrative experience in clinical/healthcare administration.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, education, social services, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience analyzing data using high-performance computing.
- Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g., EMR or EHR and data management systems).
- Quality improvement analysis and implementation experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with statistical analytical concepts and methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while taking initiative.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this full-time (1.0 FTE) position has been established as $69,591 - $88,520.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
