Manager of SoftwareEngineering
Description:
Our client in Phoenix, AZ has an immediate need for a Manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a DevSecOps technology specialists in support of the Consumer Banking line of business.
Requirements:
- Preferably 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with 5+ years of related technical managerial experience
- Hands-on experience delivering DevSecOps capabilities
- Experience developing complex solutions within the financial services industry
- Technical experience including AWS (Azure or GCP), Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular (React/Vue), CI/CD Pipeline Integration (Jenkins)
- Solid grasp on engineering software processes and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC)
- Understanding of configuration management, release management, systems verification, and testing
- Experience with AWS/AZURE/GCP, Bash and Linux
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead team of DevSecOps technologists
- Collaborate across organization to influence the creation of comprehensive CI/CD capabilities to support on location and cloud-based solutions
- Aide in the adoption of DevSecOps best practice capabilities including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, platform observability and containerization
- Collaborating with technical leaders, architects, and other stakeholders to design approaches that implement DevSecOps across a broad spectrum of technology platforms
- Coordinating with peers within the organization to ensure seamless integration of functional workflows
- Ensuring high quality incremental product releases while driving to deadlines and optimizing investments
- Assuring quality through efficient management of team and resources
- Evaluating and limiting risk and vulnerabilities during the software development process by consistently employing industry best-practices
