Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as supply chain management integration and practice. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate quality and supply chain data to conduct in-line adjustments to repaired or cleaned parts. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the quality management or SCM process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management, system guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supply chain and part quality troubleshooting/ problem solving. Vendor, engineering, and unit part collaboration. Industry knowledge, part familiarization, and advanced training required.
  • Monitor performance/process. Supply chain and part quality monitoring system analysis of current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
  • Certified peer trainer (supervisor sign off). SOP creation and revision. Mentors and coaches junior level associates on quality mindset and on the technician role inside a semiconductor/SCM company. Involved in projects and task beyond sustaining.
  • Understand risk assessment and mitigation. Applies the elements of corrective and preventive actions, such as root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and the control of nonconforming material.
  • Perform incoming and outgoing advanced part inspections to identify abnormalities, discrepancies, or quality concerns. Disposition per procedure or through problem solving methods. Engineering collaboration likely.
  • Use advanced measurement equipment to measure and test outbound and inbound parts.
  • Workdays & Hours: CWW, D-Shift.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Associates degree or military equivalent.
  • Or 4 years of SAS technician experience. SAS Tech II minimum.
  • Supply chain management.
  • Statistics.
  • Active in Nano Worksmart.
  • Part inspection, sampling, and testing.
  • Equipment troubleshooting and part replacement.
  • Metrology.
