Are you looking for an opportunity to use your subcontracts management skills in a meaningful work environment that supports and protects explorers and heroes? Join our team! As a Subcontracts Management Specialist I, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M) through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and help lead minor negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

This role is open to a hybrid schedule
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types
- Preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts
- Administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M) through the entire contract lifecycle
- Participate and help lead minor negotiations of terms, price, and schedule
- Monitor subcontractor performance
Must-haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
