Subcontracts Management Specialist III

If you are a seasoned subcontracts management professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As a Subcontracts Management Specialist III, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Fixed-Fee, through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and lead moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and at least 3 years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education


Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance
  • ISM Certification
