Sr Spacecraft Electrical Engineer

You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems.

Must-haves:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience.
  
• Demonstrated experience in spacecraft electrical power system (EPS) technology maturation, design, development, production, test, or sustainment.
  
• Experience with vehicle EPS integration and test.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions and test procedures.
  
• Desire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an exciting capability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing a new multi-domain system.
  
• Willingness to work on a small team performing complex engineering design evaluations for a diverse mission where everyone's input matters.
  
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
  
• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
  

Preferred:

• An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance
  
• Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant aerospace experience.
  
• Proficiency in simulations through functional and logical models and system analysis
  
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  
• Experience composing and analyzing Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, simulation and analysis
  
• Knowledge of industry standard electrical design principles, to include, but not limited to model-based definition, electrical component selection, manufacturing and production processes
  
• Familiar with Electro Magnetic Effects (EME) to include, Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI)
  
• Experience in digital or analog circuit design and schematic capture
  
• Understanding of the printed circuit board layout process and tools

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $117,040.88 - $160,931.20

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
