Sr. RPA Developer Analyst

You will be part of the Automation and Cognitive Services Technology group and in this role, you will work on the design and implementation of various transformative and critical automation uses cases from various business and functions across Honeywell. This position will work closely with Senior IT Leadership, IT business partners, solutioning and technology teams to deliver architecture driven technology solutions. Additionally, you will be part of the innovation team implementing leading-edge productivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help lead the end-end Design and DevOps activities of all approved process automation projects; activities include architecture guidance, design and development lead, and detailed code reviews and deployment into operations.
  • Regularly publish and socialize reusable processes, accelerators, knowledge assets for RPA and AI/ML projects across businesses and functions.
  • Drive solution assessments for process automation opportunities, including feasibility analysis, preparing detailed process flow documents, detailed design documents and resource estimation
  • Analyze, understand and document the business processes in detail where required and communicate effectively with business counterparts and stakeholders
  • Identify, architect, deploy technical infrastructure standards including disaster recovery, load balancing, and scale up/out planning aligned with defined Honeywell Global Security standards
  • Develop/Configure RPA and automation processes where necessary, using established design standards, core workflow principles that are scalable and simple to maintain.
  • Work in a startup-type environment to define, design and develop innovative applications using Machine Learning and drive functional proofs-of-concepts to production ready scalable solutions
  • Support existing processes and implement change requirements as part of a structured change control process
  • Use problem solving skills for issues that arise in day-to-day running of RPA processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required; Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and modify RPA solutions
  • Proactively lead / communicate with vendor teams for all technical delivery and operations projects/issues and with other business / IT stakeholders in the extended program team
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and provide inputs to the change control process
  • Actively train, mentor team members and regularly present in internal tech talk and solution show case sessions

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/IT fields
  • 2+ years of experience in RPA Tools & Platform & Implementations: Examples - UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or other RPA platform vendors
  • 1+ years of experience with Software Development / Technology implementation projects with .Net, Java or other programming languages.
  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements related to export control data

WE VALUE
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/IT fields
  • Working experience building and delivering automation projects end-end, through the complete project life cycle
  • Proven understanding of RPA and Process Automation technology with ability to lead RPA projects from idea to deployment
  • Experience deploying and/or integrating Web services/Restful APIs /EDI Integration/BPM (Business Process Management)
  • Agile development / deployment Experience with Java, Node.js, Python and other languages
  • Experience deploying other Automation projects such as Conversational Interfaces, Machine Learning driving decision making systems.
  • Proven understanding of the software development and deployment best practices, preferable experience working in full DevOps environment.
  • Ability to work with globally dispersed teams with ability to lead assigned projects to the completion and closure
  • Strong communications skills to work with leadership teams to ensure projects are delivered on time/budget
  • Experience in deploying automation solutions on top of SAP and other ERP Platforms
  • Experience in SAP Integration and integration with other ERP platforms
  • Working Experience in Cloud Infrastructure, security and deployment options: Example - AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
  • Certifications in leading Process Automation platforms with preferably AI / ML - Intelligent Automation Offerings
