We have an opportunity for a talented Sr Cloud Solution Architect to join our Equifax team!

What you'll do:

• Responsible for the design, development and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications.
• Architect and design data systems, physical, and logical data structures to support ingestion, reporting, and data analysis.
  
• Reviews Technology requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
  
• Provide technical and thought leadership, lead technical initiatives, collaborate with and solicit participation from other teams.
  
• Working with Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, Security and Compliance requirements w.r.t. different data assets.
  
• Hands on work with the engineering teams on POCs, implementation, code reviews etc.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
  
• 10+ years of relevant experience in software development with 3+ years in architect role
  
• 5+ years of Java stack experience as a developer, designer, and architect with a deep understanding of Java design patterns
  
• Experience with Google Cloud technologies: Dataflow, GKE and Big Query
  
• Demonstrated research, analytical, critical thinking, decision-making and problem solving skills.
  
• Ability to effectively communicate architecture/design proposals and negotiate options with other teams.
  
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience creating the following: deliverables, designs, white papers, estimates, proofs of concept and/or diagrams
  

Extra points for any of the following:

• 1+ year of cloud computing experience and a cloud certification - GCP preferred, but AWS or Azure acceptable
• Experience working with private and sensitive personal information in a secure manner is a plus.
  
• Solid experience in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise applications using the latest version of Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Security
  
• Experience with Cloud-managed database technologies (e.g. relational and no-SQL)
  
• Proficiency using CI/CD technologies (build and source code control tools and processes like Git, Jenkins, and Maven)
  
• Experience working with ETL tools and building complex ETLs.
