The Engineering Operations team within the Digital Department has an opening for a Software Engineer in Test. This position is located in Pleasanton, California or Plano, TX.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
• Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for testing.
• Maintain and develop testing tools and frameworks for software in python, java, java script.
• Review product code for errors, test coverage, automation issues, and quality concerns
• Develop an automation roadmap and helps initiate the right framework and maintain the existing automation suite.
• Lead CI/CD efforts on GitHub, creating example pipelines and supporting other engineers.
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Empower the project test teams to do their own automation with the help of right tools and strategies.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
• 5+ years' experience in test automation techniques for complex interdependent programs/projects.
• Proficiency developing in Selenium WebDriver, Java, JavaScript, or similar automated test tool or development language.
• Possess experience in Test Planning, execution, tracking tool, preferably JIRA.
• Proficient at working with Cassandra/Mongo/SQL databases, web application frameworks and command line interfaces.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins
• Proficiency using SoapUI, Postman or similar test harnesses for RESTful web service testing.
• Extensive Android/IOS Native test automation experience using Appium. (If mobile is also needed)
• Experiences with UI automation with selenium or similar tools
• Experience with Rest Assured/Karate frameworks or similar.
• Experience with web technology stack and/or mobile.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in Azure, PCF or equivalent cloud platforms
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment methodologies
• Experience with creating test plans-based end user scenarios.
• Results oriented, willing to take responsibility and accept accountability for action.
• Comfortable with ambiguity as needs change on a regular basis with a high degree of initiative and sense of urgency
• Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to interact with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers are all essential in this role.
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives.
