What you will be doing

The Security Architecture, Engineering, and Delivery organization is looking for a Sr. Security Program Manager, reporting to the Sr. Director of Security Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery, to help enable our security architecture and engineering teams to build, expand, and deliver critical security capabilities. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of a suite of services and security programs/solutions responsible for:

• Security logging and automation to support SecOps and Incident Response
• Managing security infrastructure
• Securing critical production services
• Crypto and Data Protection services
• Vulnerability management, red team, pentest, and VDP

You will play a pivotal role in focusing the technical security team's work on delivering provable, data-driven, risk reduction by envisioning and building the platforms and infrastructure that will enable the security product capabilities to deliver the required security posture. This position is based at an Albertsons office (Pleasanton CA, Boise ID, Phoenix AZ, Dallas TX) or remote in an Albertsons market area.

Main responsibilities

• Champion of our security engineering tools and services, understanding our principles and requirements, and the associated technical and operational work required.
• Drive alignment and execution of cross functional security architecture and engineering initiatives across the security and IT organizations.
• Be the product owner for the security tool rail capabilities as we adopt an enterprise-wide Scaled Agile framework.
• Facilitate security architecture and engineering reviews with engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Analyze data to make fact-based conclusions to create and deliver internal customer facing content that supports security needs.
• Prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple projects, leveraging pool PMs, simultaneously while working with aggressive schedules and shifting priorities.
• Drive initiatives among cross-functional teams to define project requirements and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with.
• Drive internal process improvements by using automation to replace repeatable, operational tasks, and improve our customer experience.
• Work independently to provide structure and insights to the team.
• Communicate and evangelize our security tooling and solutions both internal and externally.

What we are searching for

• Bachelor/Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in technical product/program management or software engineering.
• Experience working with technical teams to developing and/or program managing the fast-moving digital transformation of large-scale enterprise systems or security program initiatives.
• Experience in vulnerability management, security architecture and engineering, security assessments.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in securing cloud and physical infrastructure in a retail/supply chain environment.
• Experience with data analytics and creation of data-driven artifacts that tell a story of security.
• Experience with security research, bug bounty programs and/or vulnerability remediation.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams like Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Security Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Software Engineers and DevOps.
