Cogito is searching for a Senior Business Development Representative (can be located anywhere in US/Remote) to join our marketing team! Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and meeting sales quotas. The ideal candidate is both a hunter and a gatherer with great organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Conduct high level conversations about Cogito's platform with senior executives within designated target accounts
Present Cogito's unique solution to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Manage outbound multi-touch marketing campaigns to identified targets
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
Generate, develop, qualify and set new business opportunities for Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams
Build rapport with prospects through a consultative solution based sales approach
Stay up to date with market developments, industry trends, value propositions, and pricing
Report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results to Head of Business Development

Requirements:
At least 7 years experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, Account Manager or similar role within a software company
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Understanding of sales performance metrics and ABM strategies
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced start-up culture
Once safe to do so, some travel is required

Skills:
Experience with Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience communicating confidently with Fortune 500 Operations Executives
Demonstrated ability to work independently and adapt your style to rapid organizational and platform change
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Emotionally Intelligent, impeccable organizational skills, highly motivated and personable
