The Information Technology Department has an opening for a Senior Automation Engineer, who can participate in the entire spectrum of tasks associated with Automation and execution for Supply Chain and Manufacturing applications. This position is located in Pleasanton, California.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drive practice improvements through innovation and test automation, and implement cost-effective solutions, best practices, standards and guidelines for automating test
  • Implement holistic functional and test automation strategies to maximize test coverage and productivity while tightening test cycle time
  • Develop an automation roadmap and build automation framework that scales and caters to functional and operational needs by levering proper tools and technology
  • Lead efforts to build out continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines
  • Optimize product quality by participating in architectural and technical design sessions.
  • Responsible for manual and automated test execution as needed
  • Guide the geographically located test automation engineers on the project(s)
  • Act as technical QA liaison to IT and Business groups.


Qualifications:
  • 4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience
  • 7+ years of automation experience including strong familiarity with multiple test automation frameworks, processes and technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience in leading, managing, and performing test automation for complex integrations and interdependent applications.
  • Significant experience in automating tests for Web, Mainframe, Windows and ERP applications
  • Understanding of cloud technologies Docker, Kubernetes (MS Azure, GCP is a plus)
  • Well versed in CI/CD and experienced in building efficient, effective, and reliable regression testing pipeline - (Jenkins/CircleCI)
  • Experience in varied BDD and Data Driven automation frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, Protractor, Cucumber framework for testing JS applications is a plus)
  • Ability to test Applications with Real Time Messaging based integrations is highly preferred
  • Must have strong automation experience with Selenium Webdriver with Java, Selenium GRID, TestNG, Java Script (Node.js), SOAP UI, Postman, Maven, Python, Shell Scripting, Java and other automation tools along with CI/CD expertise
  • Strong experience in development in Java
  • Database testing experience with SQL, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, Apache Kafka
  • Experience in testing and version control tools like Zephyr/JIRA and GIT
  • Experienced with fast-paced software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies on proprietary and/or packaged software
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to mentor, coach and train junior test automation engineers
  • Passion for service excellence and customer satisfaction innovation and continuous improvement
