The Scrum Master is charged with planning and scheduling duties for the Delivery Team. They are also expected to define the standards for determining feature and Epic delivery health within the teams they support. This person also communicates decisions that affect delivery schedules to all stakeholders. In addition, the Scrum Master maintains the availability of the delivery teams to accept work.

Scrum Master collaborates daily to ensure that delivery schedule decisions are clearly articulated, and appropriate members of the product team understand the impact of changes. The scrum master manages risk and dependencies for the delivery team and escalates as necessary to the Program Manager on the Product Team. Furthermore, the Scrum Master plays an active role in modifying team behavior to become more agile in the team's ways of working (e.g., following up with the team to ensure that key behaviors named during a team retrospective are put into place, then celebrating improvements as they happen).
Job Description:

  • Collaborate across disciplines to deliver creative solutions to Equifax challenges.
  • Play a key role on your team by developing and delivering presentations and written deliverables, and organizing and facilitating Equifax and internal meetings and workshops.
  • Establish positive relationships with Equifaxs and peers that build credibility, foster your support network, and empower career development.
  • Forecast, manage, and report on team progress each sprint throughout the quarter, including quarterly updates.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues, mitigation of risks, and accommodating changes using appropriate and agreed upon processes and tools established within P&E.
  • Create and manage sprint-level reports to share with executive leadership.


What you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role with a strong background in team development.
  • Proven success delivering projects in Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Experience with multiple project streams and leading teams of 5+.
  • Large enterprise project experience ranging from $1million+
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion.
  • Strong facilitation skills; communicates effectively with the business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of various technologies including applications and databases.
  • Expert knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Working knowledge of Google GSuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) a plus
  • Project Management training and/or project lead experience of 3+years
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of project planning tools (MS Project, Jira, Version One, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: External certifications, accreditation or recognition from recognized professional bodies.
