Proposal Coordinator III

As a Proposal Coordinator III, you'll assist the proposal manager in the execution of the proposal process. You'll analyze potential and existing content to ensure it contains appropriate and applicable information, and is appropriate for the intended audience and requirements. You'll generate and edit proposal content, boilerplate and reuse proposal materials, templates, and outlines. Your duties may also include assisting with answering Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) requirements and organizing meetings and an keeping meeting minutes for team meetings.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must-haves:
  • Bachelor's degree a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced experience with the practical application of coordinating proposal activities, proposal writing, and document editing with emphasis in technical products and logistics services
  • Capable of basic electronic and hard copy proposal production and delivery
  • Understanding and experience with collaborative software tools, such as Microsoft Teams and/or Development Engineering Software tools, such as JIRA, Windchill, Confluence
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Thorough capability to employ Microsoft Office Applications
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required


Preferred:
  • APMP Certification
  • Experience preparing narratives, themes, focus boxes and action captions,
  • Understanding of procurement and subcontracting processes for proposal activities
  • Progressive technical and proposal experience with emphasis on technical products and services related to Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) or other complex systems/services for US Government and international customers.
  • Experience organizing complex proposal activities including daily meetings, color team reviews, proposal calendars, and proposal production.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple functional teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Experience organizing complex past performance and key personnel resume submittals across multiple organizations and teammates.
  • Experience developing and organizing complex technical proposal content to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Experience collecting information from subject matter experts and using it to create compelling proposal language.
  • Expertise using MS Office tools and Adobe tools for content creation and desktop publishing for large, complex proposals.
  • Experience with content management tools such as Expedience and Adobe Framemaker.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
