The Technology and Engineering Department has an opening for an Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Lead. This is a Programmer Analyst position in Phoenix, Arizona or Pleasanton, California. Other locations would be considered based on experience and the actual location.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The position is responsible for the Technical Lead tasks within our Oracle Cloud HCM application. This position will develop solutions and designs for systems integrations, data conversions, reports, data extracts and PaaS applications. Functional reporting areas include Core Human Resources, Recruiting, Learning Management, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Compensation and HR Help Desk.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Consult with the business clients to understand and assess business requirements for the configuration, testing, implementation, and development of key business reports and analytics.
  • Create technical design documentation from requirements provided from the business teams.
  • Ability to develop and own solutions through project or development lifecycles.
  • Ability to mentor and conduct technical design and code reviews.
  • Development of key business reports using OTBI, BI Publish and HCM extract tools.
  • Development of Internal and External integrations using HCM Data Extract and OIC
  • Development of complex fast formulas and configuration of necessary flex configs within the system to meet business requirements.
  • Research and implement new features and functions within the Cloud SaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Work extensively with technology systems analysts, developers, testers, system administrators to collaborate and develop application security solutions which meet the technology and business requirements for all applicable testing and production environments.
  • Prioritize opportunities to improving processes for application development and reporting functions.
  • Performs data analysis to understand system capabilities and troubleshoot environment issues.
  • Knowledge and ability to use and administer the organization's technology practices, standards and procedures.
  • Knowledge of organization's total technology environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketplace experience, developments and trends related to the technology function.


Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relational functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience.
  • Minimum three years of recent experience in implementing ERP applications in Finance, HCM or Supply Chain with at least one year in Oracle Cloud HCM with developing reports.
  • Minimum of five years of technical and development experience in Human Capital Management (HCM), Time and Attendance, or Workforce Management
  • Must have hands-on experience with developing solutions in Oracle HCM Cloud. Knowledge with HCM Data Extract, Fast Formula, OTBI/BI Publisher is required.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the Oracle HCM Cloud data model.
  • Must have experience building complex SQL statements withing database tools and reporting applications.
  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes, tasks, and underlying table structures
  • Having experience with descriptive/extensible flex fields, HDL, spreadsheet loader, functional configuration manager, fast formulas, user defined tables, value sets, value set queries is a plus.
  • Techno-functional experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft HCM, Workbrain, Recruiting Manager, Empower, and ServiceNow are highly desired.
  • Data and analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Ability to successfully partner with vendors/agencies and internal stakeholders; ability to work within a cross-functional team environment where teams are sometimes located remotely.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and resolve technical issues within the broader project team.
  • Experience in working with offshore / onshore model.
  • Ability to collaborate across various groups, build relationships and manage effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to follow through to resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to understand client expectations and recognize and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple development software projects and priorities and overall impact to the current and new security and application configuration.
  • Ability to work independently with strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet requirements in a fast-paced continuously changing business.
