The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for full-time research faculty positionsat the assistant, associate, or full professor rank. Such position requires a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field. Technical areas of interest may include: Computational and Physical Aspects of Electronics and Electromagnetics; Power and Energy Systems; Quantum Information Science; Bioacoustics and Bioimaging; Circuits - System on a Chip; AI/Autonomous Systems; Robotics; Machine Vision; Embedded Computing Systems and the Internet of Things; Data- Centric Computer Systems and Storage; Networked and Distributed Computing Systems.

Successful candidates areexpected to quickly establish an externally-funded and internationally-visible research program in one or more of the scientific areas described above. The incumbents arealso expected to develop interactions with faculty in ECE, and to co-supervise graduate student research in ECE. Responsibilities will include research and service.

These positions are full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track positions appointed on anine-month service basis paid over twelve months.Part time appointments will also be considered. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
