The Network Security Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for effectively supporting and delivering IT Network/Security Infrastructure services (SDWAN, LAN, Wireless, FW, Voice, VPN, SASE) to CNH Industrial customers.

The ideal candidate will work from either Racine, WI or Burr Ridge, IL. This position is eligible for HYBRID flexible work arrangements!



Responsibilities

• Work in a NA/Global IT Network/Security Infrastructure within a regional focus and outsourced IT Network/Security- Infrastructure managed services.
  
• Manage day-to-day operations with Service providers to ensure effective delivery of outsourced/managed services, including weekly 24x7 On-Call Operation rotation.
  
• Work closely with the Global/Regional IT Infrastructure- and Security operation teams, including the execution of initiatives to achieve the IT Network/Security Infrastructure strategic vision.
  
• Lead CNHI vendors to ensure the availability of 99.8% of CNHI NA Network- and Security infrastructure.
  
• Work with internal/external business clients and 3rd party providers to identify, diagnose, and resolve network problems within the agreed timeframe.
• Ensure service provider has accurate documentation for network/communication services at all CNH North America sites.
• Review monthly WAN and LAN capacity analysis for all NA CNH Industrial locations, and recommend proactive changes as needed.
• Support IT management on budget and invoice management
• Be a point of contact for our customers.

Position Pays $80,000 and 127,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• A minimum of 5+ years experience as a network/security engineer/architect (WAN, LAN, MAN, VPLS, Wireless, Security devices, and Voice infrastructure)
• Must be able to work a 24x7 Weekly On-Call schedule rotation within a team of 9 people

Preferred skills:

• 5+ years experience working in a 24x7 operations area
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of troubleshooting techniques within an outsourced services model
• Exhibits mature technical project management skills. (preferred in a network infrastructure environment)
• Deep understanding and support experiences with Cisco/Meraki WAN-, LAN-, Wireless- and Palo Alto Firewall solutions/technologies
