Machine Operator/Fabrication - 2nd shift - 4,000 Signing Bonus

Responsibilities

• Perform different jobs including plasma cutting, bending and drilling.
• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including plasma cutting, bending and drilling.
  
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production, ensuring that results of machining process align with expectations.
  
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
  
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
  
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
  
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
  
• Check machinery and complete autonomous maintenance calendars (CLIR) on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
  
• Maintain necessary records and record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs.
  
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
  
• Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties.
  
• Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
  
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  
• Follow all standard operating procedures and established practices and processes.
  
• Participate in continuous improvement projects through completion of suggestions and kaizens.
  
• Perform other duties as required or directed.
  

Relocation Assistance Available

Rate of Pay: $23.77/Hour + $1.00 shift premium + $4,000 Signing bonus ($1,320 at 90 days of service, $1,320 at 180 days of service, and $1,360 at 1 years of service.)

Hours: 2nd shift hours 3:30PM-1:30AM Mon-Th & Overtime as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated experience working on repair specific activities and/or as a floater on the assembly line and meets full expectations of the role.
