THE JOB: Under direction, manage information technology operations and projects across multiple large-scope functions, including operational and strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and staffing; and perform other work as required. The option for remote work may be available based on the type of work and operational needs.
THE REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain these knowledge and abilities would be:
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business or public administration or a related field and two years of IT management or IT supervisory experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business or public administration or a related field and three years of IT management or IT supervisory experience.
OR
Five years of IT management or IT supervisory experience.
Special Requirements: License Requirements: Possess and maintain a California Class C Driver License. Background Investigation: Some positions may require fingerprinting and/or background investigation. Other Special Requirements: Availability to work irregular hours, which may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
