This position reports to the North America Financial Services CFO. Responsible for the manager of NA FP&A and Business Reporting teams. Overall responsibilities for all financial activities related to North America Financial Services, including cost control, pricing discipline, and financial review of monthly results to pursue the achievement of Trading Profit, and ROE targets.
Responsibilities
- Owner of the following deliverables:
- Three Forecasts a year
- Annual Budget
- Monthly Best Estimate Submission
- Three-year Strategic Business Plan (prepared annually)
- Quarterly Press Release support
- Monthly Manager Meetings Managing Director of North America presentations and ad hoc analysis
- Produce flash (preliminary actual data) of month's results
- Analyze preliminary actual data to ensure material correctness of reported results
- Prepare financial, analytical, and interpretive reports in a timely fashion, including analysis of performance, cash flow, and capital requirements
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis on a broad range of complex business issues and key performance indicators
- Continuous review and analysis of the North America Pricing components including the review and analysis of competitive information, actual margins versus expectations, completion of funding plan, UCC data, and program utilization, and strategic alignment with commercial
- Provide recommendation of pricing changes, monthly reporting and analysis of pricing information, and new / modified programs / pilots based on program utilization / analysis, etc.
- Monitor loans/leases funded and review for compliance with published Rate/Residual Concession DOAs.
- Monitors and reviews program and rate set-ups with the systems.
- Reviews, establishes, and calculated incentive compensation plans, targets, and payouts for Sales, Collections, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related area
- 5+ years relevant experience in a variety of diverse accounting/finance -OR- in a captive finance organization or banking environment
Preferred:
- 1+ year management experience
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or CFA
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Financial product knowledge including management and control of costs, pricing, and market positioning
- Wholesale & Retail financing knowledge including dealer floor plan and used equipment financing, retail financing programs
- Experience with SAP FI, SAP BI, Hyperion Financial Management, Cognos and QlikSense
- Working knowledge of Accounting Principles/Audit/Corporate Policies and Procedures/External Reporting (20F)
