The Finance Department has an opening for a Financial Analyst, Tech Finance. This position is in Pleasanton, California.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the team in project planning, cost tracking,
• Ensuring value realization of the project benefits
• Driving uniformity across the planning process
• Provide financial reporting, analysis, and metrics to ensure the company is achieving its targets, support in savings opportunities. Partner with leaders across the portfolios to develop robust, dynamic, and scalable models that can be quickly adapted and updated based on strategic direction of the organization.
• Oversee financial planning cycles, quarter estimates, periodic and quarter close processes by developing financial plans and estimates, managing close related scope and responsibilities. Partner with project teams and business for Governance and spend approvals.
• Manage and help the team to meet the overall organization' financial objectives, assist in developing business models on contracts spend, evaluation of opex vs capex spend based on Internal Policy guidelines.
• Work with accounting on period-end and quarter-end close activities.
• Work with project and program leads to manage project and program financials.
• Preparing the annual budget, managing against the budget, including reporting on variances, and maintaining a forecast.
• Coordinating with other analysts and the offshore financial team to optimize deliverables.
• Lead and deliver against internal improvement efforts and finance projects.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of Financial Planning and Analysis, with experience supporting IT preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Great presentation skills.
• Extreme proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, links) and MS Outlook (email, meetings) and MS PowerPoint (clear, uncluttered slides)
• Ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion / Essbase.
• Ability to navigate large company and manage multiple stake holders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work across different time zones.
• Exceptional leadership abilities to facilitate and encourage team collaboration and support career growth of security staff at various levels of maturity and expertise.
