Facilities Supervisor

In this role, you will oversee facility personnel and maintenance functions of buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles. You'll maintain all inventories for supplies, furniture, parts, tools, and other various facility related items, monitor and oversee outside contractors, maintain the outside vendor list for all building and grounds maintenance needs, perform general building maintenance, and move/assemble office furniture and equipment.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Ability to read blueprints Prior experience in construction/maintenance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with the safe use of tools and equipment
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Preferred:

• Typically, 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Previous management experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
• Identify and coordinate resources to ensure the required tools, processes, and training are available and effective
• Experience working with hand and power tool
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
